Welcome to the Once Upon a Blog Hop!

Thank you for stopping by to read my thoughts on this hop. Fairy Tales are one of the things we remember from childhood. The romance between the prince and princess, beauty and beast and lady and the tramp. Yes, even dogs get romantic. I think that was the part I loved the most. And it was what pushed me into writing romance. Sweet stories with some and nice but with some heat for my characters.

In honor of all things fairy and the new and interesting ways the tales are being re-written for books and movies, I’d like to give two prizes away to two winners.

I love Beauty and the Beast and for a more modern fairy tale The Princess Bride. I have noticed the rise in remakes of fairy tales in the erotic genre and thought that was cool. Thanks Carin

Snow White was my favorite. I love to curl up by the fire on a cold winter night with the hubby drinking hot chocolate toddies and watching a movie, or reading a HOT romance book if hubby is working. Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win.

Beauty and the Beast. As a kid, I always thought it was so great how handsome Gaston was yet was so rotten inside, and vice versa for the Beast. But I also love the original fairytale alongside the Disney version :)

My favourite has to be Beauty and The Beast, his vulnerability and Beauty’s bravery in facing up to being imprisoned by a beast. One of my favourite author’s managed to make even Rumplestiltskin sexy (Tielle St Claire). I’m still waiting for the definitive romantic version of B & the B though.

I love Beauty and the Beast. I’ve enjoyed it with my daughter and now I get the same enjoyment with my granddaughter. I love that is shows that beauty lies within a person, not just what can be seen.

It’s really hard to decide my favorite. I’ve read a great deal of different fairy tales.
