My sister and I were raised to be really close. It’s been hard to be so far from her after living so close together most of our lives and in some cases living together. I miss her every day and I love her tons. But it’s only a matter of time before we are together again. My sister has been through everything with me and when i think of someone who’s known me all my life aside from my mom, she’s it. I want to give thanks for my sister. She’s been a great friend, an amazing mother and wonderful aunt. We love to shop together, go out to eat and do fun stuff with and without the kids lol. I miss her dearly and I hope she knows how much I care for her.

Today we will focus on family. My family is my life. We are very close and love to spend time together. We especially love doing outings and now that I moved I miss them a lot. I am looking forward to seeing them next month so we can do some fun things again. My family is by no means perfect, but they are a great group of people who I love.

We all like having fun and doing things together.

Sometimes we don’t see each other for long periods of time but when we do, it’s like we haven’t been apart.

From close family to extended family to in-laws, I am thankful for them all.

And when we can, we always look for a reason to celebrate.

Hi all! This is the week of giving thanks and amazing giveaways!

Today we will focus on friends. I have had some amazing friendships through the years.

Emely who has been a friend since we were in the 2nd grade. For almost 30 years I have known one of the most beautiful people life has sent my way. She is more than a friend, she’s a sister. I am grateful for knowing that no matter how far we live from each other, she is always there for me.

Another amazing friend I have known is Heidi. I met her first year of college and we have never looked back. She might live far but if I need her I know I can call her.

I have been blessed with amazing people like some of these lovely ladies:

Robyn who has become a great person I can talk to and who is always on my side. She is thoughtful and sweet and I couldn’t imagine not knowing her! In a business where so much is lies and fake friends, she has proven to be a real person I can depend on, trust and be myself with.

DeAnna has given friends that bring a smile to your face a new meaning. Whenever I speak with her she is always worried I’m working too hard and will make time for me even though her life is super busy. I can’t be happier to have her in my life.

Sheri, Jenn, Teracia, Jessica, Nicole and Bambi. They are the epitome of amazing. They help me so much and don’t ask for anything but my friendship in return. These ladies mean the world to me.

Tonya. Though you are gone, I have never and will never forget you. You made me open up and become the author I am today by creating friends when I was wary. You showed me what an amazing REAL friend was about and you never once turned away from me. You made time for me and when I needed you, you were there, guns blazing. I LOVE YOU. I always will.

I am hopeful you have great friends like this in your life.

Hello you wonderful readers!

I recently got back from AAD Atlanta 2015. It was AMAZING! I saw so many of you there! And a lot of my Street Team members (18 of them) showed up to have a wonderful time. First let me start off by saying it was a heck of a lot of work but OMG so worth it. You all don’t realize how much I appreciate you. I really do. It is because of each and everyone of you I can write full time.

One of the most coveted items at AAD were the “I Almost Gave A Fuck” Tees from me. Can you say awesome!? Everyone loved them!

With Eve Langlais (on the right) who shared a boardroom with me and a couple of others. It was so much fun!!!

Me and the always amazing Lia Davis! I love this lady!
