I love Christmas and the holidays. As a native NYer, one of my favorite traditions is going down to Rockefeller Center with all the kids, my sister and other family and checking out the big tree. It’s a fun ride. We start out by getting some coffee at Dunkin Donuts (for
anyone that knows me knows I am DD addicted lol). Then we take the train down to midtown. We check out all the store windows for their winter/Christmas displays. We visit the tree and check out the ice skating rink.
After that we move out of the crowds and find a nice place to eat. Somewhere fun where the kids enjoy themselves. My hope is to take them to Serendipity 3 this year. If you are a NYer, I’m sure you’ve heard of Serendipity 3. They were the first place to make frozen hot chocolate and a HUGE ice cream sundae. OMG and their foot long hot dogs and cheddar burgers rock!
After all that, we must continue the trek and visit Bryant park, where we check out all the handmade shops and small business tents. We end off the night with some amazing hot chocolate from Chocolate by the Bald Man. It rocks!

Oh, yes! I love hot chocolate. Every year, my kids asks for it come wintertime. We sit in front of our fireplace with Christmas movies playing and we all sip on the hot chocolate. I think this will be something that we do no matter how old they get:)

Also, One of my favorite Christmas Romance Books is The Untamable Rogue by Annette Blair! The story is about Ashford Blackburne Fifth Earl and he has to get married and get his willing bride pregnant before Christmas or his grandfather won’t let him inherit his money. Ash truly needs to inherit the money because his late father squandered it all away and he is taking care of his mother. After getting stood up at the alter, again, Ash and his friends go to the local pub where the owner plays a drunken Ash in a card game…his consolation prize is the pubs daughter Larkin, who he wants to get ride of. Ash has to learn to forgive…Larkin has to learn how to trust…can two completely different people find love together. This is a cute, extremely funny, romantic story with a surprise Christmas ending!

Loooooooooooove hot chocolate – especially when it’s Ghirardelli made with half ‘n half (or wicked, decadent CREAM!). Once you’ve had this stuff, there is no going back to the packed ickiness that requires you to add water. Shudder.

cky15: Love hot chocolate that is my morning drink. I only drink the brand Stephen’s brand the best. I got it for christmas one year and never get any other brand.

Love hot chocolate! I had some at this little restaurant once that was a breakfast hot chocolate. It’s thick, almost pudding like, and they give churros to dip it in. Num-yummy!
